April Rain

Well it's decided not to be spring in Utah yet...so this card is kind of a reminder to myself that it will get better! I just hope it's soon! But in the meantime, it's left me with lots of time to get crafting, so I decided to try something new. I used watercolor pencils and a Tombow blender pen to color this digital stamp from Designed 2 Delight. It was pretty fun and they were WAY less expensive than Copic markers which are still on my wish list! I used some of the My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary collection, because even though it's about a rainy day, the colors are still happy :)

I used the Walk in my Garden cricut cart for the flowers and then liquid glass to give a little shine to them and to the butterflies around the watering can.

So I needed to have a nice, uplifting sentiment for the inside of the card too :)

Here are the challenges that inspired me:
Mojo Monday - sketch
Fantabulous Cricut - April showers, project with umbrella or hat
Designed 2 Delight - watering can digital stamp
Cooking with Cricut - April showers
Crafty Creations - rain showers, challenge #113
The Paper Variety - April showers bring May flowers

Have a great day!

I heard there was snow again in Utah. Hopefully your were not in that region. This is gorgeous! I love that sentiment and gotta love those cute digitals from Designed2Delight!! Your coloring is perfect on it and as I always say, I LOVE YOUR PAPER!! Can we trade paper scraps some time! I've been trying to use up my scraps lately and I feel like it is a never ending task! I think that it would be so much fun to play with someone else's scraps! Anyway, very nice card for all those challenges! Good Luck and don't worry, Spring has to come soon!
