This was such a fun card to make! I recently ordered some
Magnolia stamps and I absolutely love these little characters! They're so cute and versatile and I'm looking forward to making a lot more projects with them. I also followed this awesome tutorial at
Scrap Girl's website and I was able to color the skin and hair with some copic markers. Her tutorial is great, she tells you exactly which ones to get so I only had to buy 6 of the markers and I was able to get some great shadows with them. They're pretty expensive, although I can see why every one loves them so much! But for now, I might just stick with those few and then use my watercolor pencils to color the rest. I found some great polka dot embossed paper and then used three buttons with some bling on them to add some sparkle.
Last week at
Cooking with Cricut, I won a Top Chef prize and got to choose a cutting file from
Paper Crafting World and I chose their Raggedy Edge Rose which made these beautiful flowers! It was so fun to try a different flower than usual and I loved the result!
