Spring Tag

For my Celebrate the Occasion challenge this week, I thought it was supposed to be a tag :) But alas, it is supposed to have a punch on it. Luckily, I used one. The only shaped one I have aside from border punches is the Martha Stewart Circle punch. Martha has failed me in many other products she uses, but her punches have so far been great.
The tag was a RAK sent from Enastasia. I love the tags she sent me. I used My Mind's Eye Laundry Line Sun dress Admire, with Winding Vine paper. Shabby Shutters and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink by Time Holtz were used around my edges. I used a My Minds Eye rub on for the bird and a quote that says An Every Day Kind of Wonderful. So sweet. Then I decked it out with some Prima bling 'say it in crystals' a large button and a K&C bling. I threw on some trim and a Fancy Pants ribbon. Some tulle at the bottom flared out from the backside- like a dress :).

I have to say it is all a bit gaudy. :) My mom didn't like it. But I think it is adorable. :)
I would love to see your projects. Go to Celebrate the Occasion and enter. Pull out your old punches you never use and get going. You have one week to get them in. No cricut required :)

Fast Baby Card using My Minds Eye

Hi Peeps! For this weeks Design Team Challenge at Celebrate the Occasion it is a new arrival. I chose to do a sweet and simple baby card for my friends baby boy. Don't you love little sweet baby toes and hands? I have had 4 kids, one boy and three girls and I still can't get enough of newborn babies. Does anyone have one I can hold????

Go and enter your new arrival (pets count too) project to Celebrate the Occasion Challenge blog and you could be entered to win the monthly giveaway. Remember, you do not have to use the cricut for this challenge blog- so if you are on a Provo Craft strike because of the Make the Cut fiasco- this challenge is for you :)

Here is the link to the video of the card I made, which my ten year old helped me film. Um.... I will be practicing with her first next time, LOL!!

Until then stay tuned for more projects from Rayna and myself. Happy crafting!
(PS I want you to note that I only have ONE photo up here instead of a thousand like I normally do. I am having withdrawals- this may not last. )
