Well it's decided not to be spring in Utah yet...so this card is kind of a reminder to myself that it will get better! I just hope it's soon! But in the meantime, it's left me with lots of time to get crafting, so I decided to try something new. I used watercolor pencils and a
Tombow blender pen to color this digital stamp from
Designed 2 Delight. It was pretty fun and they were WAY less expensive than Copic markers which are still on my wish list! I used some of the My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary collection, because even though it's about a rainy day, the colors are still happy :)

I used the Walk in my Garden cricut cart for the flowers and then liquid glass to give a little shine to them and to the butterflies around the watering can.

So I needed to have a nice, uplifting sentiment for the inside of the card too :)

Here are the challenges that inspired me:
Mojo Monday - sketch
Fantabulous Cricut - April showers, project with umbrella or hat
Designed 2 Delight - watering can digital stamp
Cooking with Cricut - April showers
Crafty Creations - rain showers, challenge #113
The Paper Variety - April showers bring May flowers
Have a great day!
