Penny's Love is in the Air Challenge

For today's Penny's Paper Challenge we are making projects with the theme Love is in the Air. This cute little monster was one of the images I got to work with for my Valentine's box. I cut out the box using Tags, Bags, Boxes and more on the Cricut and then I used some coordinating paper to accent it. Valentines is so great! It always gets my creative juices flowing!

Penny's Bird Challenge

Happy New Year!! Thursday, January 5th is Bird day in the United States, so we're doing a these fun projects at Penny's Paper Challenge to celebrate. I made this card within a card using my glittery Coredinations paper and used my Close to my Heart Art Philosophy cart to cut out the small card and then the beautiful flower.

We had the opportunity to use these adorable images from Digital Delights to make our cards.

Valentine's Card

Based on the My Mind's Eye sketch, I made a card for their challenge and for the Die Cuttin' Divas, More Than Favors, and My Pink Stamper Valentine's challenges. I love MME paper and I used three different papers from their Laundry Line. I really liked this saying from their chipboard accessories and the lace border is a rub-on from the same line. I cut out the heart using the Paisley cricut cartridge - that cartridge has so many cute things, so versatile! Hope you all have some fun Valentine's activities planned! Have a great day :)

Valentine's Purse Decoration

I went to my local Roberts craft store and they had these adorable paper mache purses on display. This is what it looked like before:


And here's after I decorated it!




I painted the top, sides, and bottom with a pink paint that matched my paper, and then I got two different My Mind's Eye papers from their Laundry Line paper for the front and back. I used mod podge to stick them on - I just put the glue on the back of the papers since I didn't want that glossy finish for my finished product. I added a cute picture in the heart cutout, some decorative ribbon to the handle, and a little flower to the front and poof I had a new Valentine's decoration! Have a great Sunday!
