Star Happy Birthday

I made this card using the Camp Out solutions cricut cartridge for the stars and then various papers from the My Mind's Eye Just Dreamy line.

I used pop dots to raise up the different levels of the biggest star just to give it a little more dimension. I made this card for the masculine card challenge at Celebrate the Occasion and then for the Die Cuttin' Divas star card challenge too. I love their challenges, they always get my creative juices going!

If you haven't used the Sew Easy stitch piercer from We R Memory Keepers, it's definitely worth a look! I just rolled the piercer along with the zig zag attachment and it made the holes in the paper perfectly spaced so I could just come back and sew the line in with my different color threads. It was perfect for this stitching!

Halloween Layout

Ok so I'm a little behind with my scrapbooking, but I just did this Halloween layout with the cute My Mind's Eye paper from the Blackbird line. I used the Cricut to cut out the big circle and then I stamped the witch, cat, & spider - I think I just got the stamp set because he was SO cute! Then I used some twine to attach the star and Stickles in Frayed Burlap to give it some shimmer. They are having a challenge over at the My Mind's Eye blog to do a layout following the sketch so I thought I would give it a shot. Also, at Amanda's Crafts & More, she's doing a layout challenge and anything goes, so I'm entering there too! Have a great day!

Valentine's Card

Based on the My Mind's Eye sketch, I made a card for their challenge and for the Die Cuttin' Divas, More Than Favors, and My Pink Stamper Valentine's challenges. I love MME paper and I used three different papers from their Laundry Line. I really liked this saying from their chipboard accessories and the lace border is a rub-on from the same line. I cut out the heart using the Paisley cricut cartridge - that cartridge has so many cute things, so versatile! Hope you all have some fun Valentine's activities planned! Have a great day :)

Create a Critter Elephant

My youngest is turning 2 this month so I made this card for her :) I hope you enjoy it. She really likes elephants right now. Is it possible to watch Dumbo a million times a day to the point you dream about it at night? Pink Elephants *shudder*

I used the crown from Once Upon a Princess Cartridge on page 25 Font Shift

The elephant is a Create a Critter Cartridge and on page 55.

Whoo Loves You?

I used Create a Critter for the cute little owl and then some big googly eyes. I also used Paisley for the heart - I used my Cricut Design Studio to layer a 4" heart and then a smaller one inside to make the cutout. I printed out the Whoo Loves You? and colored it in with marker to add some more yellow. I'm doubling up challenges again and using white, blue, and yellow for More Than Favors and then for the Cricut Cardz Challenge, it's a Valentine's card for a man too. So much fun doing challenges!
