For the challenge this week at Celebrate the Occasion, we were challenged to make a project using Red, White, and Black. It was perfect timing because my other cousin is getting married this weekend and those are her colors! I used the swirl embossing folder for this card and then used some star dust stickles to make the swirls stand out a little more.
I used Close to my Heart stamps to create the background image and then I stamped the hearts and popped them up on foam squares. I used red stickles on the swirls and diamonds on the hearts to add some bling.
For this fun 3D flower, I used the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge from Close to my Heart. It creates a spiral and then I stamped the swirl image on it. Then you just roll it into a flower shape and I added the diamond brad to finish it off.
Don't forget to come and join us this week at Celebrate the Occasion for this fun challenge and to check out all the fabulous work from the rest of the awesome Design Team!! All you need to do is create a card, layout or other project and post it by Sunday, October 16th, 11:59pm (EST). The winner will be selected and entered into the drawing for the month!
Have a great day!
